Unanimement saluée comme la meilleure animation d’Halloween réalisée aux USA, la grande série de shows live imaginée par les Studios Universal de Floride est ouverte au public depuis le 25 septembre, et bien évidemment jusqu’au 31 octobre, le jour de la fête. (Les dates exactes sont pour Septembre le 25-26, et pour Octobre 1-4, 8-11, 15-18, 21-25 et 28-31);

Cette année, le titre du show est « Ripped from the silver screen » , (autrement dit « arrachés du grand écran »), car plusieurs icônes du cinéma d’épouvante surgissent dans les différentes aires thématisées et labyrinthes, pour effrayer les visiteurs. Parmi les « horror stars » de cette année figurent Jigsaw, le tueur fou de la série Saw, le Loup-Garou que l’on découvrira en février 2010 au cinéma, et l’indestructible Chucky, la poupée diabolique.

Le programme de cette année est particulièrement riche : Universal Orlando propose huit « maisons hantées », six « zones d’effroi » et deux spectacles live ! Les équipes du parc ont réussi à recréer les ambiances du Loup-Garou et des séries Saw et Chucky en collaborant étroitement avec les maisons de production qui les ont initiées. Les spectateurs peuvent ainsi rencontrer directement les épouvantables vedettes de ces films.

Autre évocation cinématographique, celle de Cirque du freak (qui sortira le 2 décembre en France sous le titre L’assistant du vampire) et de ses monstres de foire itinérante. Dans ce film, Darren, un adolescent de 14 ans, tombe un beau jour sur un cirque de monstres ambulant, et se fait mordre par le vampire Larten Crepsley. Transformé en créature assoiffée de sang, le vampire novice rejoint le Cirque du Freak et ses pensionnaires. Parmi les créatures qui y sont présentées, on trouve un homme à peau de serpent, un loup-garou, une femme à barbe et un géant. Alors qu'il apprend à maîtriser ses nouveaux pouvoirs dans ce monde des ténèbres, Darren devient l'objet de convoitise de deux factions ennemies de vampires, et devra lutter pour sauver sa peau et retrouver son humanité.

Si vous avez la chance de voyager sur la côte Est des USA en octobre, et si vous êtes fan d’horreur, ne manquez pas cet événement unique et particulièrement réjouissant !

The Spawning - Something "different" has moved in among the sewers of Wyandot County, Ohio. The locals claim that these creatures, these "Sculders," are two feet tall, with the body of a snake. As a volunteer member of the local water district, it is your civic duty to venture into these pipes and restore the flow. But beware, the locals are wrong about the "Sculders" and the only thing that will be flowing is your blood as it leaves your lifeless body.

Leave it to Cleaver - Samuel Meetz works for the people of Carey, Ohio as a butcher, bringing them the freshest meat possible. With a steady livestock of transients and town lawbreakers with which to serve, and a staff of volunteers who will preserve their towns deadly secret by any means necessary, there is truly no end in sight for Samuel or his family business. SIX INESCAPABLE AND CHILLING SCAREZONES

Lights, Camera, Hacktion!!! - Hollywood Boulevard is being used as a location for the filming of the next big horror movie to be released in October 2010: The CHAINSAW DRILL TEAM MASSACRE in 3-D. Lights, Camera, Hacktion! Our director, Mas Imair, noted horror film aficionado, is bringing the massacre to life in blood-red terrorcolor. But the actors seem to be taking their direction literally and are "hacking" through the cast and crew. It's a close encounter of the worst kind as the backlot becomes a hacklot and the streets run red with blood. Are you ready for your close-up?

Cirque Du Freak - Inspired by Universal Pictures' upcoming film "Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant," which tells the fantasy-adventure tale of a boy who unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires.
